The demands of virtual school meet or exceed those of traditional courses, and students should plan to spend 5-6 hours each day on virtual courses. All Galena Virtual School (GVS) applications are evaluated before your enrollment interview is scheduled. GVS placement is determined on a case-by-case basis and is a team decision consisting of the virtual school director, facilitator, counselor, high school administration, parents, and the student.
